How We Got Started
The story of All Star Seal & Stripe begins the way a lot of good Tennessee businesses do, with a guy, a truck, and a refusal to do shoddy work.
Back in the early 1990s, our founder noticed something across parking lots and driveways all over Murfreesboro. Property owners were getting burned by out of town crews who showed up with cheap material, sprayed a quick coat of something black, and disappeared before the first hard rain washed it into the storm drain. He had grown up around construction and knew the difference between sealing asphalt properly and just painting it. So he bought a small rig, printed up business cards, and started knocking on doors offering work he could stand behind.
Word got around. One satisfied car lot owner told another. A church recommended us to a neighboring church. A property manager who hired us for one lot started hiring us for all of them. Three decades later, we are still earning that word of mouth one job at a time.
